Rabbitohs High Performance Manager, Troy Thomson, updates us on the casualty ward at the Club in the latest ALCATEL onetouch High Performance Update.

Rabbitohs halfback, Adam Reynolds, was taken from the field against the Cowboys on FSaturday night after suffering what appeared at the time to be a hamstring injury while in possession of the ball. Thomson however provides good news about the Rabbitohs playmaker following scans over the weekend.

“With his history and the hamstring troubles he’s had, we obviously all thought the worst there to start off with,” admitted Thomson.

“We made the decision to take him off at the back end of the game there just to be cautious – he’ll be right to go for us this weekend.”

Thomson also provides an update on Rabbitohs Captain, John Sutton, who is edging ever-closer to a return from a knee injury suffered in round 20 against Canberra.

“Sutto’s been working around the clock on that knee,” said Thomson.

“He’s out running now. We’re going to try and push him again for Thursday night so we’ll see how he goes.”
