Rabbitohs Head Coach, Michael Maguire, says that he and his squad are looking to build consistency when they travel to Canberra on Monday night for their round 20 clash with the Raiders.

Maguire’s men put in a convincing performance against the Parramatta Eels in round 20, but for the Rabbitohs mentor, it’s all about backing that up this week.

“Every game’s an important one,” said Maguire.

“We’re very focussed about making sure we back up and get that consistency that we’ve been trying to find in the last few months.

“It’s really focusing on the things we did well in that game – our completion rate, and obviously defending strongly together as a unit.”

And according to Maguire, his team are giving themselves every opportunity to build on their performance by remaining focussed at training.

“The boys have been very focussed in these last couple of weeks,” said Maguire.

“We’ve learnt a lot of lessons over this last month and it’s taking that into Canberra.”
