Rabbitohs forward, Chris McQueen, spoke to the Cairns Post this week with the Queensland native citing his desire to make the trip to Cairns in round 21 and play in front of his family at Barlow Park.

“As soon as I got hurt and the doc said (I’ll be out for) six weeks or so I set my sights on this game,” he said.

“I’ve been pushing really hard and doing everything I can to get back for this game.

“I’m not too sure if I’m going to be playing but I’ve got family up there so I definitely want to play.”
