Rabbitohs High Performance Manager Troy Thomson updates us on the casualty ward at the Rabbitohs in his ALCATEL onetouch High Performance Update.

Thomson gives us an update on Chris McQueen, who sustained an ankle injury against the Cowboys in round 16.

“Chrissy’s coming along really well,” said Thomson.

“Our physio’s been working really hard with him and they’ve been able to speed him along with his recovery.

“We’ll put him on the field probably the back end of this week, start getting him doing some running there.”

The High Performance Manager also provides some details on Beau Champion and young-gun Aaron Gray.

“Both those guys are coming along really nicely,” said Thomson.

“Champ’s out on the field now doing a lot of conditioning with myself – now he needs to be able to do a bit of contact and do some up and down, off the ground stuff as well. He’s still a couple of weeks away.

“Young Aaron Gray has started doing some running on land as well. He’s still a couple of weeks away as well, but we’re working really hard on getting them back as quick as possible.”
