While admitting that his side’s last loss against the Titans was tough, interchange forward Jason Clark says his team is keen to regroup after the bye and atone this Friday against the Eels at Parramatta.

“A loss is always hard,” admitted Clark.

“Having the bye, hopefully we can re-group and look forward to this week.”

Clark added that the formula to success in the forwards was simplicity ahead of tomorrow night’s clash, pointing to the talents of halves such as John Sutton, Adam Reynolds and Luke Keary as the key to steering Souths’ big men around the pitch.

The Souths Junior admitted that having the depth of playmaking talent offers a number of options to the side moving forward. The prospect of seeing those players gel is one that excites Clark.

“Sutto (John Sutton) has been over the past couple of years probably our most dominant half,” said Clark.

“Renno (Adam Reynolds) does a great job there and now that Luke (Keary) is there, he’s doing a great job as well.

“We’ll have our spots on the field where one of them will take over at the right time, but I’m looking forward to the boys getting their combinations together and gelling the right way.”
