Rabbitohs fullback and Queensland Maroon, Greg Inglis, fronted the rugby league media in Queensland this week ahead of State of Origin Game III.

The Maroons centre says his team has had the same style of preparation for Wednesday night’s Game III, as the opening two matches of the Series.

Queensland will be looking to avoid the first New South Wales clean sweep since 2000 on Wednesday night, after losing this year’s Series in Game II in Sydney. But according to Inglis, the formula won’t be changing.

“We’ve been preparing for this Game III as we did in Game I and II,” said Inglis.

“It’s all about attitude with us and turning up and wanting to do the job on Wednesday night.”

Inglis put the Series loss down to simply being outplayed in Games I and II by a Blues outfit intent on ending eight years of Maroon dominance.

“The attitude was there,” said Inglis.

“We keep asking ourselves the same question – at the end of the day, we just lost the game and New South Wales outplayed us, it’s as simple as that.”
