Rabbitohs forward Ben Lowe says his team is itching to get on the field to make amends for last weekend’s loss to the Cowboys.

While Lowe cited the long turn-around between the Rabbitohs’ last match as a positive period that has allowed the Rabbitohs to look at their game, the desire to get back on the paddock is all that’s on his teammates’ minds.

“We’re just looking forward to getting back out on the paddock,” said Lowe.

“It’s been a long week and a long turn-around, so it’s given us plenty of time to really look into what we can improve on.

“We’re all looking forward to getting back out there and playing some footy again.

“We pride ourselves on playing 80 minutes each week, and against the Cowboys we just didn’t do that. In this competition you really need to be performing 80 minutes each week.”

The Rabbitohs will take on the Titans in Monday Night Football in round 17, a night that has produced some upset results. But Lowe dismissed the notion, citing that his team will be ready and raring to go irrespective of day or time.

“It’s no different whether it’s Monday, Saturday or Friday,” said Lowe.

“We turn up no matter what day it is to be honest, so we’re just looking forward to getting back out there.”
