With State of Origin only a week away and clubs affected by this, round 14 line-ups are full of potential cheapies.

Round 14 see’s a lot of teams affected by Game Two of the State of Origin, and fantasy coaches are scrambling to try and get a full 17 playing this weekend due to the major bye round.

After last weekends’ inspiring performance, the Rabbitohs will have to do it all again with several key players out either through injury or State of Origin duty. The Rabbitohs play the West Tigers on Friday night and are looking for a win to consolidate their spot in the top five. Dylan Walker is out, so for the coaches who own him get him out ASAP because he is looking at 4-6 weeks on the sidelines.

Round 14 is a major bye round so ultimately you want 14-17 active players playing so you don’t fall too far behind the pack.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Panthers – DWZ burst onto the scene in round five and is considered a future superstar in the NRL. Very busy young winger and has a lot of price rises left in him now that David Simmons is injured.

Jake Mamo Newcastle – Mamo is a very handy mid-season cash-cow, has played a couple of games but is still due for some price rises and should grab a wing spot when Darius Boyd returns from Origin duty.

Curtis Sironen, Tigers – Has a bye to deal with next round but is a future star and has a high work rate, he is a point per minute gun so if he gets the minutes he will be a great buy, has had some bad luck with injuries but a very handy buy if he can find his form.

Mitch Rein, Dragons – Is a gun if he can get 80 minutes but with three hookers named in the Dragons line-up, he will average around 50 minutes and is now a must sell.

Dylan Walker, Rabbitohs – has had an incredible two months since he switched back to centre, but is facing 4-6 weeks out with a fractured thumb.

Elijah Taylor, Panthers–Has a bye next week and due to the form of Tyrone Peachey and co he is seeing a lot less minutes. Was only ever a keeper if he gets the 80 minutes.
