The Warriors had me worried! We are a team that like to grind out a game, but when your opposition jumps out of the blocks first and you have two tries scored against you in the first six minutes, it is a scary feeling. With an injury avalanche, things looked grim. BUT we stepped up a gear, took the game by the horns and triumphed!

At the end of this game, social media erupted with posts of pride. The Members and fans weere clearly overcome after seeing such a gutsy win from our Rabbitohs. The name on everyone’s lips was Dylan Walker, and he absolutely deserved every bit of praise that was thrown at him. To whip through defence, score tries and simply stay on-field while he had a broken hand showed not only courage, but proves he is serious about bringing the Rabbitohs success. He is the perfect example of what all fans want to see in our colours.

What about Tyrrell? The man doubled his career try tally in one game. It was almost as if he took over the Burgess boys with his charge-over tries. Wasn’t it refreshing and invigorating seeing him get over the line.

While we tipped the scales back our way in this game, I noticed we were scoring tries all over the park. We have a cluey team – a team with great communication and if we show up with the grunt that we showed in the second half every week, then we are in for some good wins. You can just see the development in our team, the stature is strong. Are we about to hit our straps? Gee I hope so!

This Friday night will be a test, but I am pumped for it. We always have exciting, exhilarating games against the Tigers. I do not expect any different. The Roosters are in front of us by one point in for and against, so we need to tally up the points to jump them.

The more people we have there on Friday, the warmer it will be! I feel a spectacle is on the cards, and something inside me says we are on the rise. We may be missing Walker and McQueen, GI and Te’o but the Tigers are missing Aaron Woods, and their leader, Robbie Farrah. Get ready to get behind our boys!

Up the mighty Rabbitohs!
