Rabbitohs Head Coach, Michael Maguire, is looking forward to a massive crowd this Saturday at nib Stadium in Perth for the Club’s round 13 clash with the New Zealand Warriors.

With tickets still available for what promises to be a high-octane match, Maguire pointed to last year’s corresponding match as an indicator for what is to come.

“We’ve got great support over here,” said Maguire.

“I remember last year, the noise was unbelievable when the boys ran out. There’s a lot of support for the Bunnies, but there’s a lot of support for the opposition team too – it should make for a good day.”

But all focus is on bringing home the win according to the Rabbitohs mentor, with Maguire confident that he and his side have done the hard-yards leading into the match.

“There’s two points, and we need the two points,” said Madge.

“The boys have trained really well this week – we’ve got no excuse on how we perform. It’s about just going out and doing it now.”

After change in the coaching ranks earlier in the season, the New Zealand Warriors will be looking to avenge their loss in Perth from last year with a good performance in 2014.

“They’re playing well,” said Maguire.

“Obviously in the last month they’ve turned a bit of a corner with everything that’s gone on over there I guess, but we’ve got to focus on the things we can do.

“Defensively, we’re going to have to be strong. They’re very string when they’ve got the ball and we need to find weaknesses when we’ve got the ball. It’s going to be a tough game, but one that we’re looking forward to.”

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will take on the New Zealand Warriors this Saturday 7 June in round 13 at Perth’s nib Stadium – the Rabbitohs’ Western Australian home. To purchase tickets, please click here.
