Despite grabbing two tries last night and helping his side to two competition points, Rabbitohs winger Joel Reddy says there’s no time to waste on congratulating each other as the team prepares to take on the Warriors in Perth.

“It was a good feeling last night, but we’re back on the job today,” said Reddy at the team’s recovery session this morning (Tuesday).

“It was a pretty good win for us – Back in the top-four which is good, but we’ve got a big game against the Warriors this week with a shorter turnaround.

“Personally I was happy with the tries, but there are a lot of things we can work on as a team.

“I think we could’ve been a little better throughout the game – we made a few errors, so hopefully it’s stuff that we can build on for next week.”

The Rabbitohs will fly out to Perth to take on the New Zealand outfit for the second year running at nib Stadium, with Reddy predicting an entertaining match on the back of some talented players.

“Obviously Shaun Johnson and Konrad Hurrell – they’ve got some big players there and they’re playing good footy.

“They’re an entertaining side so we’re going to have to be on our toes.”

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will take on the New Zealand Warriors this Saturday 7 June in round 13 at Perth’s nib Stadium – the Rabbitohs’ Western Australian home. To purchase tickets, please click here.
