Souths Cares have been given a $2 500 boost by the South Sydney Graphic Arts Club this week, in aid of the charity’s Indigenous Education and Employment Programs.
The generous donation will be put to good use in the South Sydney community through the unique programs administered by Souths Cares, including but not limited to; the Oral Health Care Program, School to Work Transition Program and the Teacher’s Aide program.
Souths Cares General Manager, Shannon Donato, stressed the importance and need for support from the local community to achieve important social outcomes.
“The generosity of organisations such as the South Sydney Graphic Arts Club helps to make what we do possible,” said Shannon.
“Souths Cares aims to deliver important social outcomes in the Indigenous and local communities, so to have the continued support of South Sydney Graphic Arts Club is a wonderful testament to the trust they have instilled in us to deliver these programs.
“I’d like to thank the Board of the South Sydney Graphic Arts Club, and their President, Mr Basil King for their generosity and support, and we look forward to our association in the future.”
