To celebrate the NRL's Women in League Round, The South Sydney Rabbitohs this week hosted their third annual Women in League Breakfast.

The event held at Doltone House, Darling Island Wharf, saw a healthy turn-out of over one hundred members of the South Sydney and rugby league family that included the Rabbitohs playing staff and officials.

But the stars of the week weren't in the playing ranks, but rather in the women that make rugby league possible.

Special guest and Channel Nine presenter, Erin Molan, spoke about the important role that women play in the game of rugby league.

"It's women who love the game and are passionate about it," said Erin.

"They do so many things without thanks or recognition. It's amazing to see because this game would not function at all - not even not well - without the mums.

"But even women who have no children playing, out in country and rural Australia who do incredible things."

Guests enjoyed breakfast as well as some generous giveaways from proud Rabbitohs sponsors including DeLonghi, Logitechshop and Camperdown Fitness.
