What a ripper of a win. That 40-18 score-line was exactly what we needed! The man of the moment though was Dylan Walker. He was bouncing off Titans like a ping-pong ball, and slicing through defence almost at will. His communication with his halfback was spot-on and his enthusiasm was outstanding. Four tries that could almost have been five is definitely something to remember!

Let’s not forget to mention the connection he has with Alex Johnston though. The two of them together were simply enjoying their footy, and doing a damn good job at the same time, running off each other, taking guidance from Reynolds and reaping the rewards.

When re-watching the highlights of the Titans game, it blew me away to not see any of the big names in the clips. When young players keep seasoned professionals out of the highlights, you know you are on a good thing!

The ladder is looking far better for us now and we have some big games ahead. We’re now fifth, and only two wins behind the Bulldogs who are first. We have Melbourne at home first, then Cronulla in the Shire, followed by the Dragons, Warriors and Tigers at home.

Starting with the Storm, after only winning three games against them in the past 10 years, I am hoping/thinking/begging that the tables have now turned. Looking at stats for the year so far, we have been scrappy with handling errors, but we still seem to be putting pressure on our opposition, so if we can steady our hands, we will have a massive chance.

Our 2014 flaws are not hard to clean up, and with our rookies growing in confidence by the week, I can feel some good weeks coming up. I love that we have a professional, competitive team who are gelling and growing better and better by the week. Better yet, I love that we are not entirely at full strength and that we have soldiers waiting in the ranks to return. I am excited by what is yet to come.

So, let’s extend that 30 000 Members even further because if you have a hint, a whiff, a touch of green in your red blood, you will want to be a part of this season. The best is yet to come! Up the mighty Rabbitohs!
