Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire fronted the rugby league media today (Friday) at Sydney Airport ahead of tomorrow's match with the Gold Coast Titans on the Gold Coast.

Maguire admitted the representative weekend break came at the right time for the Rabbitohs, with the mentor citing his team are refreshed and ready to do the job at hand against the Titans.

"We had a few bumps and bruises but everyone's refreshed now," said Maguire.

"We're looking forward to going up to the Gold Coast and doing our job."

With the Titans currently sitting equal first on the ladder and playing good football, Maguire said that the Rabbitohs would have to be sharp this week to be any chance of victory.

"They've really improved," said Magurie of the Titans.

"They're a really enthusiastic team and they're really working for each other defensively, so we're going to have to be pretty sharp in everything that we're doing.

"They've got some big name players in their team and they've been performing very well."
