North Sydney Bears Vs Wentworthville Magpies
North Sydney Oval, Sunday, April 20
Kick-off: 3.00pm

With Michael Maguire dropping Nathan Merritt back to NSW Cup today (Thursday), the North Sydney Bears will find themselves considerably bolstered by the Origin and Indigenous All Star at North Sydney Oval on Sunday.

The Bears find themselves in some unfamiliar territory sitting in 12th position on the NSW Cup ladder, still in search of their second victory after winning in round one and enjoying the bye in round two.

Norths will have their best opportunity yet to chalk up another win with the inclusion of Merritt in addition to the hugely experienced Lote Tuqiri.

But while the Bears struggle coming off another loss, Wentworthville are polar opposites having just smashed the competition front-runners in front of an appreciative home-crowd at Ringrose Park.

Liam Foran was exceptional for the Magpies last weekend. He had a hand in almost every Wenty try and his kicking game just kept turning around the massive Mounties forwards, creating holes in the defensive line for Bureta Faraimo and former Rabbitoh Justin Hunt to capitalise on.
