Rabbitohs prop Luke Burgess fronted the rugby league media today (Tuesday) ahead of this Friday night’s round six clash with the Penrith Panthers at the foot of the mountains.

Burgess istressed that the Rabbitohs were still very much a work in progress despite scoring a convincing victory of St George Illawarra on Saturday night.

"We've got to keep building on our performances each week - that's the main thing," said Luke.

"We don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves - start planning wins and all that sort of stuff - but we got a win now, we managed to break that losing streak.

"We'll put that behind us. There's still plenty of things we need to work on from the weekend."
