Rabbitohs centre Joel Reddy fronted the rugby league media today (Tuesday) ahead of this Friday night’s round six clash with the Penrith Panthers at the foot of the mountains.

Reddy said his team were well aware of the issues stemming from the three losses on the trot, but that composure and tightness among the group went a long way to beginning to rectify the problems on the training paddock.

"We saw what was going on and there were a few things we needed to rectify - that started at training," said Reddy.

"We dealt with those issues and we had a lot better performance - not our greatest performance, but we defended a lot better and that's how we got the win.

"If we can put in another good performance this week, we can start to build on that and that's what it's all about."
