Rabbitohs forward Chris McQueen fronted the rugby league media today (Tuesday) ahead of this Friday night’s round six clash with the Penrith Panthers at the foot of the mountains.

McQueen said it was important to back up last Saturday's win against the Dragons with another this week against the Panthers.

"We've obviously lost more games than we've won at the moment," said McQueen.

"So if we can go out and put in another this weekend like the one on Saturday night - it's obviously really important."

McQueen labelled the Panthers as the 'surprise packet' of the 2014 season so far ahead of this Friday's match.

"They've been really good - probably one of the surprise packages this year," said McQueen.

"They bought a few players and their halves are working really well together - we sort of have to take that form that we had on Saturday night into this game."
