The South Sydney Rabbitohs and St George Illawarra Dragons will play the 31st Charity Shield at WIN Stadium in Wollongong this Saturday 22 February – the first time the match has been played outside of Sydney in the history of the traditional pre-season feature match. Traditionally, both Clubs support charity with proceeds from the match, which highlights the good work conducted by Souths Cares and the St George Foundation.
The Rabbitohs will be looking for back-to-back victories in the Charity Shield in 2014, having wrestled the Shield back from the Dragons in 2013 with an emphatic 28 points to 10 victory at ANZ Stadium.

Face in the Crowd
Simply by being in the crowd this weekend you have the chance to win a Rabbitohs Merchandise Pack. So make sure you get down to the game in Wollongong this Saturday as your ‘Face’ could be spotted in the Crowd!
Half Time Activity – Membership Pack Collection Relay
Four (4) Members from each club will have the opportunity to participate in the Membership Pack Collection Relay at Half Time this Saturday when the Rabbitohs take on the Dragons down in Wollongong at WIN Stadium.
Each Member of the respective teams will be required to complete a challenge in order to redeem part of their clubs Membership Pack. Wendell Sailor and Mario Fenech will also be on the field, with the teams handing over their Membership Pack items to their Membership Ambassador before the next contestant from their team can commence their challenge. The first team to complete their membership pack, i.e retrieve four (4) Membership pack items, wins. Each Member of the winning team will receive a ticket to the 2014 Sydney State of Origin on Wednesday 18 June!

Rabbitohs Ticket Collection and Enquiries will be located at the Box Office situated at GATE A on game day.
NRL Junior Rugby League Passes will not be accepted at Charity Shield.

Entry for Rabbitohs Reserved Members and Rabbitohs Silver Ticket purchasers is via GATE A.
Entry for The Burrow, Rabbitohs GA Members, Rabbitohs Bronze and GA Ticket purchasers is via GATE D.

Rabbitohs Ticketed Members will gain FREE entry to the Charity Shield as part of their season Membership package and will be able to access the game with their 2014 Membership Cards. All Ticketed Members with Charity Shield included in their package who wish to attend are required to RSVP their membership attendance, via the online Rabbitohs Account Manager.
Member Supporter buses will be leaving from Rabbitohs HQ. Members who have reserved their place on these buses will be communicated final details shortly.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs Merchandise Van will be located just outside GATE A next to the South Sydney Rabbitohs Membership team and inside GATE D. Make sure you stop by and pick up the new 2014 home and away jersey.
Trains run between Central and Wollongong every hour. The Wollongong train station is a 10 to 15 minute walk from WIN Stadium. Some local buses stop and pick up from the Harbour Street side of the venue.
Please note that the train line that services Wollongong will have double trains (8 carriages instead of 4) on Saturday, both to and from Central. For further information, please click here.
Wollongong has a FREE Gong Shuttle bus which makes it easy to get around Wollongong's City Centre. The weekend service will operate every 20 minutes between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
This Saturday a shuttle service will run between the Wollongong Train Station and WIN Stadium. The free Courtesy Bus starts two (2) hours before NRL kick-off. The bus picks up from Wollongong Station and makes its way down Burelli Street to WIN Stadium, Wollongong. The frequency of the bus runs to the train timetable of City Rail both ways.
At the conclusion of the game the bus makes return trips from WIN Stadium to Wollongong Station for up to one (1) hour post match.
*Member supporter buses will be leaving from Rabbitohs HQ. Members who have reserved their place on these buses will be communicated final details shortly.
There will be limited parking within close proximity of WIN Stadium so please allow extra time to get to the venue.
