Rabbitohs Kiwi international centre, Bryson Goodwin returned to Redfern this week in preparation for the 2014 NRL season.

Goodwin played an integral part in the New Zealand’s tilt at the 2013 World Cup, taking part in all of the Kiwis matches and making the centre position his own during the tournament.

“It was a great experience,” reflected Goodwin.

“Great to play with some of the world’s best players and get to play at some of the best stadiums over in the UK, so I had a really good time.”

Despite going down to Australia in the final, Goodwin still ranks playing the Aussies in the Final as the highlight of the tournament.

“It was a disappointing result, but it was just a great experience to play at Old Trafford so I was pretty happy about that.”

With the Rabbitoh now back in full training at Redfern, Goodwin has made his goals for 2014 simple as he looks to again make a tilt for the red and green starting 13.

“I just want to keep on getting better, improve my game and keep on getting better and do whatever I can for the team.”
