Rabbitoh Jason Clark joined the Dragons’ Brett Morris in Wollongong today (Thursday) for the launch of the 2014 Charity Shield.

The 2014 clash marks the 31st occasion the two teams have played the match, with this year’s fixture to be played outside of Sydney for the very first time at WIN Stadium.

Clark was enthusiastic about the change of scenery, especially given the depth of support the Rabbitohs enjoy in the Illawarra region.

“I was down here over the Christmas break and I saw quite a few (Rabbitohs) Members stickers on cars, so it’s good to see,” said Clark.

The traditional clash – played with all the enthusiasm of a regular NRL fixture is one that both Clubs will be looking to win, with Clark admitting that the home-ground advantage for the Dragons will make things that little bit harder.

“It will be a little bit harder,” admitted Clark.

“It’s a new year. We have some new boys on the roster, so it’ll be interesting.”
