Rabbitohs forward Chris McQueen has spoken of the vast improvements being felt on the training paddock as compared to the same time last season.

After a short break over the Christmas and New Year’s period, the Rabbitoh and Queensland forward has cited that the team as a whole is setting records on the paddock – also bagging himself a few personal bests in the process.

“Obviously all our runs and our sessions are recorded for time, so I think we’re all setting records there,” said McQueen.

“Myself – I set a couple of ‘PB’s’ with our runs the other day so everyone’s definitely improving.”

The representative forward is happy to be back at training with the Rabbitohs squad.

“It’s definitely good to get back,” said McQueen.

“You know after a couple of weeks off you start to feel a bit little lazy, so it’s always good to get back into it and start training.”
