New Rabbitohs Holden Cup Coach Ben Gardiner, is not a stranger to Redfern – nor the NYC. The mentor now returns to the fold in 2014 for what promises to be another exciting year in the under 20’s competition.

Gardiner told Rabbitohs TV that it was “excellent to be back” after spending some time away from the Club, and is now excited to be overseeing what has already proved to be a dedicated group of under 20’s players.

“We worked for six weeks up until Christmas, and leading into Christmas we did a fair bit of running, and a fair bit of gym work which you need to do with twenties kids,” said Gardiner.

“We’ve shortened that squad now a little bit after Christmas and now looking to build leading into those trials.
