NRL and Souths Cares Ambassadors Mario Fenech and Rhys Wesser have led the Rabbitohs squad in a series of school visits for the Rabbitohs Colgate Friendly Schools Program.

The visits are just one aspect of the program which has attracted 41 Primary Schools and nine Secondary Schools that focusses on teamwork, leadership and promoting the oral health message thanks to partners Colgate.

Souths Cares Rhys Wesser believes its an extremely important message, especially for young kids.

We think its very important to educate students around leadership, Wesser told Rabbitohs TV.

We come from such a great Club where we believe leadership is very important in a team environment.

As well as lessons on leadership, the Souths Cares oral health message is in full swing.

All of our players wear Colgate mouthguards and its very important to get those messages to students to look after their teeth, said Wesser.

We talk about brushing their teeth twice a day, eating the right foods, fruit and vegetables and making regular visits to the dentist.

Going to the dentist is now easier for kids in the South Sydney region thanks to the Souths Cares Colgate Friendly Dentist Program, offering 10% off check-ups from approved dentists.
