Dream Team Tips - Round 15, 2013

The second State of Origin bye week is upon us. Will you have a strong line-up or are you presenting a decimated team?

Three trades are on offer again this week to allow coaches the opportunity to field as many players as possible.

Overall points coaches should pick up players from teams who dont have two byes remaining, while head-to-head coaches are best to save their trades for the rounds ahead.

Best of the Bunnies

Isaac Luke
(HOK - $343,900) is on the rise. He is the perfect addition to bolster your team through the remainder of the Origin period.

His five-round-average is 51 and he will play a great supporting role in any Dream Team featuring Cameron Smith or, the currently injured, Robbie Farah.

The Origin period is testing many players reliability, yet Dylan Walker (HLF - $162,800) is shaping up as one of the most consistent Dream Team performers in recent weeks.

If he holds his form, there is still plenty of value to be gained from his selection.

Nathan Peats (2RF/HOK - $128,500) late omission last week would have affected many Dream Teams.

An adjusted Rabbitohs line-up will see him get a start this weekend. With this will come a very healthy price rise.

Its worth holding onto Peats until after the Origin period before you upgrade. He wont lose any value.

Best of the Rest

Cash Cows:
Options in the Cash Cow department are very limited this week, with only a couple of genuine options presenting themselves.

Storm three-quarter Maurice Blair (CTR - $253,000) has already seen a very handy increase in value this season.

On the back of scores of 63 and 57 respectively, Blairs price tag will continue to grow.

If his recent form develops into consistency, he will be a sensational addition to any coachs team.

Rookie Roosters prop, Isaac Liu (FRF - $132,700) was another disappointment for coaches last week, with his late withdrawal from the Warriors clash.

With no extended bench named by the Roosters this week, he looks set to take the field and receive his hefty price rise.

Bargain Basement: Its the time of year when coaches should look to trade in genuine keepers for as cheap as possible.

While most of the superstars are out this week with State of Origin commitments, coaches are advised to keep an eye on them.

Many are plummeting in value, as their minutes are reduced through this time of the season.

Be ready to pounce when their prices bottom out.

Sonny Bill Williams (2RF - $380,200) has not been this cheap since round five.

He is the tenth highest ranked player in Dream Team. With a break-even of 41 and an average of 52, the time to grab SBW is now.
