Members of the South Sydney Rabbitohs first grade squad took time out today (Monday) to visit schools in Cairns in support of the NRLs Tackle Bullying campaign.

Cairns West State School (pictured), Cairns State High School, Edge Hill State School, St Augustines College and Trinity Bay State High School, all played host to Rabbitohs players, who encouraged students to speak up for a friends who are being bullied and be a hero.

The move comes after the most recent Australian Government study into bullying revealed one in four (27%) of Australian students (Years 4-9) are bullied frequently, with over half of those never reporting it themselves.
