Its the second half of the season. Are you confident we will take on the second stanza as well as we did the first? I am! We have a point to prove and we have the men to do it.

First stop, Cairns. With Myles, Bird and Harrison backing up, the Titans will be a force. They are fifth on the ladder, and have a young, bright halfback at the helm. It will be very different weather to what our boys are used to, but we are well rested, have Inglis, Teo and McQueen back from Origin, and are still on top of the table.

Are we creating the perfect storm? Our Origin stars back, a good rest, Sutton stepping up to show why he should have been a Blue, Merritt maybe getting another look in with Hayne out, Sam Burgess back on board. Are all of these positives rolling in to Cairns coming at the perfect time?

Speaking of our Origin stars, Inglis admitted he was not too happy with his game one performance, so he will be pumped to get back on top of things. I look forward to this. The big fend, and the ability to slice through brick walls will be on show against the Titans.

Chris McQueen will be on cloud nine after his solid performance in his rookie Origin match while Ben Teo will want to put on an Origin class performance against the Titans. Put these three back in with the boys who showed Newcastle that a few ruffled feathers wont hurt our performance, and were looking good.

Lets do the thing we shouldnt do and look ahead a bit. After we play the Titans we come up against Parramatta, Canberra, the Warriors and the bye. We could be a major pot-hole in their roads and if we beat them, our confidence will be at an all-time high going into the next four games against the Titans again, Cowboys, Storm and Manly.

Bring it on Souths. I am eyes wide open watching every second of what you will achieve this year. My pride in our boys this year is beyond comprehension and I feel it is only going to grow. Second half of the season, lets hit another level 2013 Year of the Rabbit. Up the mighty Rabbitohs!
