What a dream!

Our boys crossed the Spit Bridge to enemy territory; to a stadium almost as hard to crack as Suncorp.

But what do you know? We won! We beat Manly.

With Glenn Stewart back, with Jamie Lyon back chatting, with many attempts to take Inglis from the match, and at Brookie.

Confidence in my team has hit a high. I know we can always improve on a little bit here and a little bit there, but to take Manly on, frustrate them to their wits' end and come away with the two points is almost hard to describe, but I will give it a go.

Tremendous is the first word that comes to mind. Who can be categorised under this word?

Greg Inglis.

What a try he scored early in the first half. That try was the start of our belief.

To go 40 minutes against Manly, hold them to nil and be up by two shows a hard slog, doubt for the win would still be there, but when you see you best player open them up like he did, a little switch is flicked and game on in neon lights flickers in front of your eyes.

Our players played this like a semi and we came out on top. If this is a taste of things to come, I dont know how I am going to hold my excitement at the back end of the season.

Another player in my eyes who fell under the tremendous banner is Chris McQueen. He has been a favourite of mine for a while now, but watching him close against Manly cemented my favouritism for him. He is without a doubt the most dangerous and valuable player on the field WITHOUT the ball in his hands. He has an ability to put his opposition in two minds when he is near a play. His defence is rock solid also, but when he is close to a try set up I am confident that a positive will come from his efforts. He complements the stars of the field like Sutton, Merritt and Inglis without the need to be a hero, and for this reason he has fast become my hero.

I could not write this story without a touch on the biff.

OK, OK, we dont condone fighting but when your brother is hit high, sometimes someone is going to retaliate.

Sam Burgess, we love you, we love your flair, your passion!

Whats next? Weve gone seven rounds with only a loss to the 2012 Premiers.

I can feel 7 from 8 coming up.

Brisbane, Suncorp, a tough cookie to crack, but our team has exactly what is takes.

We are showing we have what it takes to be the team others fear and if we keep this ball rolling against Brisbane we stand a great chance of beating them on foreign soil.

Its always scary going to Suncorp, but because we took the points at Brookvale anything and EVERYTHING is possible.

I wish all the folk heading to Brisbane a memorable trip and I look forward to hearing what theyve got.

Be loud and be proud fellow Rabbitohs, 2013 is OUR YEAR.

Up the MIGHTY Rabbitohs!
