The South Sydney Harold Matthews Cup under 16s side will play in the NSWRL Harold Matthews Cup Grand Final this Saturday 4 May at 10:30am at St Marys Leagues Stadium in Sydney against the Parramatta Eels.

The South Sydney boys are undefeated so far this season and will be aiming to maintain their winning record in the Grand Final this Saturday.

South Sydney were minor premiers with Parramatta finishing in fifth place at the end of the season proper.

South Sydney defeated Penrith 28 points to 6 on Saturday to win their way through to the Grand Final, with Parramatta defeating Western Suburbs 54 points to 10 in their Grand Final qualifier.

The only meeting between South Sydney and Parramatta this year was in round nine, played less than a month ago, and South Sydney won the match 36 points to 10.

On behalf of everyone connected with the Rabbitohs, we wish the Harold Matthews Cup under 16s team the best of luck with their game on Saturday morning, and we encourage as many of our Members and supporters who are not in Brisbane for the NRL and Holden Cup fixtures being played against the Broncos the night before, to make their way to St Marys Leagues Stadium on Saturday morning to cheer on the next group of stars in the red and green.
