The South Sydney under 16s Harold Matthews Cup side is undefeated through eight of the nine rounds of the NSWRL competition, having defeated the strong Panthers outfit in convincing fashion, 40 points to 16.

The under 16s are first on the ladder, and will clash with Parramatta this week, who are also undefeated after playing only seven matches, in an attempt to wrap up the minor premiership.

The under 18s SG Ball Cup side are in outright second position, having drawn with the top-of-the-table Panthers last weekend, 26-all.

South Sydney will take on Parramatta at New Era Stadium in Cabramatta on Saturday 6 April, with the Harold Matthews game scheduled to start at 10am and the SG Ball match at 11:30am.
