Rabbitohs looking to back up ANZAC Day efforts against Panthers
|Last Meeting: Rabbitohs 22 def Panthers 18 - Round 7, 2019|
When the South Sydney Rabbitohs take on the Penrith Panthers, they'll be looking to break a two-match losing streak against the side they defeated in Round 7 in what was one of the defensive performances of the season.
Despite only having 44% of the ball and with Penrith parked on the Rabbitohs' line with nearly 50 tackles in the 20-metres zone, the Red and Green brick wall held strong, with the side coming away with a close 22-18 victory.
This time around, however, the in-form Panthers are coming off a three-match winning streak, having recently defeated the reigning premiers and will be looking to come out firing.
With a number of key players both returning and omitted from the side, the Panthers will no doubt be another test for the high-flying Rabbitohs.
