Rabbitohs forwards Sam Burgess and Zane Musgrove have both been charged by the match review committee after Saturday night's Round 25 clash with the Melbourne Storm.

Zane Musgrove has been charged with a grade one Shoulder Charge from an incident in the 56th minute involving Storm's Jordan McLean. The base charge for this is 200 points.

If Musgrove takes the early guilty plea he will accrue 150 points and miss one game. If he fights the charge and loses he'll accrue 200 points and miss two games. If he fights the charge and wins he'll be free to play on Friday against the Eels.

Sam Burgess has been charged with a High Tackle - Careless charge from an incident in the 68th minute involving Storm's Dale Finucane. The base charge for this is $1,500. Burgess has one prior non-similar offence which results in a 20% loading on the charge.

If Burgess takes the early guilty plea he will be fined $1,350. If he fights the charge and loses he'll be fined $1,800. If he fights the charge and wins he will not be fined.
