Maguire Ready for Pre-Season Clashes

Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire has told Rabbitohs TV that he's confident his players are ready to kick off the season, starting with the three pre-season matches coming up in February.

Starting with the Return to Redfern game against Papua New Guinea, followed by the clash with the Knights in Coffs Harbour and finally the 30th Charity Shield against the Dragons at ANZ Stadium, Coach Maguire says he's as keen as the players are to get out on the field and play some footy.

In an interview recorded at the Charity Shield launch at ANZ Stadium yesterday (Wednesday), Coach Maguire talks about the start to the season, the eagerness to play, the preparedness of his charges before the round one season opener against the Roosters, the importance of the Charity Shield to Souths Cares and its programs, and the home ground advantage the Rabbitohs enjoy when playing the Charity Shield on their home ground at ANZ Stadium.
