Big Wins for South Sydney Junior Reps Teams in Round Two

The South Sydney SG Ball and Harold Matthews sides have enjoyed strong round two wins over the North Sydney Bears at Erskineville Oval over the weekend.
The South Sydney under 16 Harold Matthews team were never under pressure, heading into the half-time break with a 36-0 lead. They extended their lead in the second half and combined with excellent team defence, finishing 60-0 winners. Fullback Jarrod Cullen was one of nine individual try scorers, he bagged three on his way to a personal points tally of 18. Centre Joseph Mitrevski was the other multiple scorer with a try double.

The South Sydney under 18 SG Ball team fought of a brave North Sydney team to record a 46-12 win. South Sydney led 24 to 6 early in the second half before the Bears struck. The Rabbitohs looked to be in trouble after being reduced to 12 men but halfback Liam Coleman and Five-Eighth Paul Momirovski led the side around beautifully, extending the lead to 46-12 by the final siren.
Momirovski was sensational with the boot, landing 7 from 8 and adding a try on his way to 18 points.

The Harold Matthews side sits in second position on the ladder with four competition points and a +64 for-and-against, just behind Parramatta who also have four competition points but have a superior +66 for-and-against record.
The SG Ball side sits in seventh position on two competition points, with four sides leading the competition on four points after two rounds.
