Beau in Coffs

01 Jun 2010

Beau in Coffs The Bunny Buddy program continued this week with Beau Champion visiting Toormina, Coffs Harbour and Narranga public schools in the Coffs Harbour region delivering Bunny Buddy packs and speaking with school children on the importance of setting goals and staying at school to receive a formal education and achieve their dreams.

Beau regularly visits Coffs Harbour to deliver workplace mentoring sessions and hopes to continue to positively influence local youth in the area.  When asked about his involvement with youth in the region, Beau said ‘if I can impact one or two young lives in the area or help a young person along then I’m doing my job.  There’s a lot of players across the NRL who understand the importance of giving back to the community’.

Souths Cares would like to thank SSFC Members, Corporate Partners and supporters for their amazing support of this initiative enabling Souths Cares to reward children for their achievements and recognising positive changes in students behaviour.
