2010 NRL Draw Released

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will open their 2010 season with four home games in the first five rounds, with 2010 Ticketed Members of the Rabbitohs again enjoying access to 14 games as part of their package next year.

The NRL has released the 2010 Telstra Premiership draw tonight (Tuesday), with the Rabbitohs scheduled to play the Roosters, Titans, Bulldogs and Knights all at home in the first five weeks.

With 10 home games at ANZ Stadium, one home game at Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford, two away games at ANZ Stadium and the Charity Shield included in their package, 2010 Ticketed Members of the Rabbitohs will again get superb value for money when they show their allegiance in the best way possible for the new season.

The Rabbitohs will open the season at ANZ Stadium against arch-rivals the Sydney Roosters, in the 200th clash between these two old foes.

South Sydney will also play the Bulldogs at home on the Easter weekend, and both the Eels and Bulldogs in away games at ANZ Stadium with reciprocal rights applicable for the Members of the three ANZ Stadium tenants.

The Rabbitohs will play seven of the Sydney-based teams at home throughout 2010, and South Sydney will again play the Wests Tigers away in the NRL’s Heritage Round. The Rabbitohs will play the Storm at home in the Women in League Round (round 16), the Dragons at home in the Rivalry Round (round 19), and the Panthers away in the Close the Gap Round (round 24).

The final four matches of the 2010 season will be against teams who finished in the top eight of the 2009 competition, providing the Rabbitohs with solid hit outs in the lead up to the 2010 Finals Series. The Rabbitohs will play the Eels at home in round 25 and the defending minor-premiers St George Illawarra away in the final round.
